Aware of the responsibility we have with society and being congruent with our values Maricultura del Pac\u00edfico has been home to the sea turtle program base camp of the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Sinaloa since 2005. Focused on the protection, conservation and preservation research of the following species:\n

\n\u2022 Lepidochelys olivacea
\n\u2022 leathery dermochelys
\n\u2022 Chelonia agassizii
\n\n
In Maricultura del Pac\u00edfico we provide everything necessary to carry out the preservation activities such as collecting, planting and caring of sea turtle nests:

\u2022 Accommodation and meals for staff
\n\u2022 Gasoline used for daily trips along 40 km of beach
\n\u2022 Support for construction and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure
\n\u2022 Facilitates access to adjacent areas for guided visits and release of offspring<\/p> <\/div> <\/div><\/div> <\/div>

The program is a pioneer in the implementation of greenhouse incubation pens, using shade mesh to reverse the negative effects caused by climate change or warming of the land that leads to a temperature increase to lethal levels in sea turtle nests.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Due to Our achievements to date, Playa Caimanero is in the process of being officially declared by the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP), in a natural sea turtle sanctuary.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Thanks to the success of the sea turtle program, Playa Caimanero in Rosario Sinaloa has become the most important beach in northwestern Mexico due to the number of females sea turtles that come to spawn their eggs in the Sinaloa beaches<\/p><\/div> <\/div>
